Accountant

Maintain daily accounting entries, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries. Handle accounts payable and receivable, supplier reconciliations and customer payment follow-ups. Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain petty cash records. Prepare sales invoices, purchase orders, credit notes and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting and audit requirements. Maintain records for VAT filings and coordinate with the company’s tax consultant. Prepare cash-flow updates, outstanding-payment reports and expense summaries. Maintain organised records of invoices, delivery notes, goods receipts and shipping documents. Support management with procurement, vendor comparisons and routine administration Coordinate daily activities with suppliers, customers, transporters and warehouse teams

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field. Preferably 1–4 years of experience in accounting with operational responsibilities. Experience in trading, building materials, industrial supplies or logistics is preferred. Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books or a similar accounting/ERP system. Good Microsoft Excel skills, including reconciliations and reporting. Understanding of inventory accounting, shipment costing and documentation. Strong communication, organisational and follow-up skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple activities. Oman/GCC experience and an Oman driving licence will be an added advantage. Candidates available to join at short notice are preferred. Employment Type Full-time
