Accountant

Role & responsibilities Maintain accurate books of accounts, including AP, AR, bank and ledger reconciliations Handle month-end and year-end closing and prepare financial statements Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors Follow up with branches to make sure reports, reconciliations and statutory filings are submitted accurately and on time Check that branches follow company policies, procedures and internal controls Track pending compliance items across branches and escalate delays or issues Visit branches periodically to review records and verify compliance Report findings and recommendations to management Support management with financial reports and ad-hoc analysis

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree 5 years of accounting experience, including audit or multi-branch exposure Good knowledge of IFRS and internal controls Hands-on experience with Tally Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting) Strong follow-up, communication and coordination skills Willingness to travel to branches (around 10% of the time)
