Accountant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Exile is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Record and maintain daily financial transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank accounts and company ledgers. Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L, and cash flow reports. Process payroll and ensure compliance with UAE labor and tax regulations. Prepare and submit VAT returns. Monitor company expenses, budgets, and cash flow. Maintain inventory costing and coordinate stock reconciliation with operations. Support external audits and maintain accurate financial documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Work closely with management to provide financial insights and recommendations. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE. Experience in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo, or similar. Experience with Foodics POS is an advantage. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
