Accounting Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The role prepares monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and presents them to the CEO for review. This position reconciles financial ledger balances with physical vault records inventories on a weekly basis. Ensures timely and accurate filing of VAT returns and withholding tax declarations in accordance with ZATCA regulations. The role serves as the primary liaison for external auditors and facilitates the completion of annual and interim audits. This position supervises the accounting team by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing technical guidance on accounting standards. The manager designs and monitors internal control procedures to protect company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This role analyzes operational costs to identify variances and support budgeting and forecasting processes. The position manages bank reconciliations and supports cash flow forecasting to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. The manager oversees the integration of financial data from operational systems into the ERP for accurate reporting. This role develops and updates accounting policies and procedures to reflect changes in business operations and regulatory requirements. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university. Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA is required. At least 10+ years of accounting experience with 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi Arabian tax laws including VAT and withholding tax. Experience in mining industry. Experience in inventory accounting within mining or industrial sector. Proficiency in ERP systems such as Odoo, Jisr. Excellent analytical skills and attention to accuracy in financial data. Fluency in English and Arabic language is required.
