Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily activities of the accounting team
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stock Control departments to reconcile supplier invoices, GRNs (Goods Received Notes), and inventory records
• Monitor and control company expenses, budgets, and forecasts
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
• Prepare payroll calculations and ensure proper disbursement
• Assist in external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision-making
• Train, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team

Desired Candidate Profile

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (Education and Experience) and

Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master s degree or CPA/CMA is a plus)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
