Accounts Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS & IAS. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations (AP, AR, tax, payroll), mentor junior staff, coordinate with banks and auditors, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, tax filings, and payroll Ensure timely and accurate preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements under IFRS & IAS Review journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by staff Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes Work closely with Treasurer on cash management and payment processes Implement and enforce accounting policies and internal controls Mentor and develop junior accounting staff; monitor team targets Coordinate with banks for facilities, POS rates, and best services Liaise with auditors for efficient and timely audits Maintain and track fixed assets per company policies Lead, direct, and motivate the accounting team Maintain discretion with sensitive/confidential data Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 8 years in a similar accounting role Post-graduation in Commerce / ACCA / ICWAI / CA (preferred) Advanced MS Excel; strong knowledge of IFRS & IAS; accounting software experience Excellent interpersonal, leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; positive attitude, team worker, self-motivated, high integrity, attention to detail, ability to multitask, excellent English communication.
