Agile Delivery Expert - Digital Platforms

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Zain Iraq is actively recruiting to hire Agile Delivery Expert - Digital Platforms, who owns the pace at which digital platforms deliver. The role is the operational bridge between Digital Platforms and the Technology department, responsible for keeping committed releases on schedule. The role runs sprint cadence across streams, tracks cross-departmental dependencies daily, and clears technical blockers before they reach the critical path. Where capacity or competing priorities will constrain delivery, the role surfaces it early with the commercial consequence attached. Run the sprint cadence across digital platform streams, including planning, refinement, review and retrospective, and hold teams to the rhythm. Maintain sprint and release plans that reflect real capacity, surfacing over-commitment before it becomes a missed date. Track delivery progress against commitments and report the schedule position with a clear view of what is at risk. Establish and maintain the ways of working and definition of done applied across delivery teams, agreeing the definition of ready with the design team. Track cross-functional and cross-departmental dependencies daily, and drive them to resolution before they affect the critical path. Clear technical blockers as they arise, escalating only where resolution needs authority above the delivery team. Maintain a live view of dependencies on Technology, third parties and other business functions, and hold each owner to committed dates. Act as the single operational point of contact between Digital Platforms and the Technology department. Align sprint sequencing and release windows with Technology delivery schedules and available capacity. Anticipate where Technology capacity or competing priorities will constrain the roadmap, and flag the commercial consequence early. Coordinate release planning and readiness across streams, sequencing dependent work so that releases go out complete. Work with the quality assurance team so that testing windows are protected within the delivery schedule and quality criteria are met before the release date rather than after it. Manage release communication so stakeholders know what is shipping, when, and what has moved. Measure and report delivery metrics including velocity, cycle time, sprint predictability and blocker resolution time. Identify recurring causes of delay and remove them structurally rather than case by case. Coach teams on Agile discipline where the delivery rhythm slips and drive continuous improvement in delivery practice. Take delivery coordination and dependency tracking off product owners so they can hold commercial priorities rather than chase technical blockers. Work with the product designers so that requirements are ready before work is committed to a sprint. Report delivery status, risks and schedule exposure with a recommendation attached. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems engineering. Project management certification is an advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile delivery management, Scrum mastery, or technical project management for digital products, with strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile and pragmatic application. Proven experience managing sprint cadence, capacity planning, forecasting, and delivery reporting across multiple concurrent streams. Experience managing cross-functional dependencies across departments, including technology teams outside the immediate team, and delivering without direct reporting authority. Experience coordinating consumer mobile and web releases, improving delivery predictability and reducing time to market with measurable results. Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps, with sufficient technical understanding to challenge estimates, identify blockers, and assess delivery risks. Strong stakeholder management and accountability skills, with the ability to communicate delivery status and commercial impact to senior stakeholders. Composed, direct, and sound judgment under schedule and delivery pressure. Experience in Telecom, FinTech, E-commerce, or high-volume consumer digital environments is an advantage.
