APIC/DataPower Designer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled IBM API Connect (APIC) & DataPower Solution Designer to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable API solutions. The role involves working closely with enterprise architecture, integration teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust API and gateway solutions in a high-performance environment. Key Responsibilities Design and architect API solutions using IBM API Connect (APIC) and DataPower Gateway Develop and implement API security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, SSL/TLS) Build and manage API lifecycle (Design, Publish, Secure, Monitor) Configure DataPower services (MPGW, WSP, XML Firewall, API Gateway) Create API policies, assembly flows, and product definitions Lead integration with backend systems (REST, SOAP, Microservices) Implement message transformations using XSLT, GatewayScript Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD and automated deployments Provide technical leadership and client-facing solution design Key Skills Required Strong experience in IBM DataPower Gateway & API Connect (APIC) Expertise in API design (REST/SOAP, OpenAPI/Swagger) Deep knowledge of API Security (OAuth2, SAML, JWT, LDAP, Certificates) Hands-on in XSLT, XPath, GatewayScript (JavaScript) Experience with Microservices & Integration Architecture Familiarity with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4i) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes) Strong debugging, performance tuning, and production support skills Experience in Banking / Open Banking domain IBM certifications (APIC / DataPower) Exposure to Kafka / MQ / Event-driven architecture Prior experience working in Middle East / Saudi projects Desired Candidate Profile 4+ years in API Integration / Middleware Proven experience in APIC + DataPower design & implementation Bachelor s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords APIC/DataPower Designer Get real-time job updates only on our App
