Arabic-Speaking Auditors – Government Audit Project Confidential

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for Arabic-speaking Audit professionals to join an immediate government audit project in the UAE. We are seeking candidates at Associate, Senior, Assistant Manager and Manager levels with strong external/internal audit experience and the ability to work effectively on government or public-sector assignments. Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred. Exceptional candidates based outside the UAE may also be considered, with relocation to the UAE arranged where applicable. Key Responsibilities Perform audit and assurance assignments for government and public-sector entities. Plan and execute audit procedures in accordance with applicable professional standards. Review financial statements, processes, controls and supporting documentation. Identify audit risks, control weaknesses and areas for improvement. Prepare audit working papers, findings and audit reports. Conduct fieldwork, interviews and discussions with client stakeholders. Evaluate internal controls and compliance with applicable policies, regulations and standards. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management. For Senior/Manager level: supervise audit teams, review workpapers and manage assigned audit engagements. Ensure timely completion of audit deliverables within project deadlines. Requirements Essential Fluent Arabic and English – both written and spoken. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Relevant experience in external audit, internal audit, assurance or risk advisory. Experience working in a professional audit/advisory firm is highly preferred. Strong understanding of IFRS, ISA, internal controls and audit methodologies. Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and meet tight deadlines. Government, public-sector or semi-government audit experience is highly desirable. Candidates must be available to join immediately or within a short notice period. Professional Qualifications ACCA / CPA / CA / ACA / CIA / CISA or equivalent qualification is preferred, particularly for Senior, Assistant Manager and Manager positions. Experience Level Audit Associate Approximately 1–3 years of relevant audit/assurance experience. Audit Senior Approximately 3–6+ years of relevant audit experience. Experience leading audit sections or supervising junior team members preferred. Assistant Manager / Manager Approximately 6–10+ years of audit/assurance experience. Proven experience managing audit engagements and teams. Government/public-sector experience strongly preferred. Location & Mobility UAE-based candidates: Preferred and able to join immediately/within a short notice period. Candidates outside the UAE: May be considered if they meet the requirements and are willing and able to relocate to the UAE for the project. UAE government/public-sector audit experience will be a strong advantage.
