Assistant Production Supervisor

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key-station backup: When line operators are absent, off-station or new hires cannot keep pace, step in immediately to keep the line from stopping due to any single station. New-hire coaching: Provide hands-on coaching to new employees, teaching operation techniques and quality-judgement standards to shorten the learning curve and reach standard output (UPH) quickly. Line material pulling: Help the line leader monitor station material stock, coordinate with the material handler to replenish materials in time, and stack and move finished/semi-finished goods neatly. First line of quality defense: Perform real-time patrols during production, assisting the line leader in supervising SOP compliance, with a focus on the operation quality of key stations. Line discipline: Assist the line leader in managing labor discipline (dress code, off-station registration, no station-swapping, etc.) and maintain on-site 5S and hygiene. Reports & records: Help the line leader tally hourly output, defect quantity and downtime, keeping the production dashboard updated in real time. Shift support: Assist with pre-shift meetings and post-shift site clean-up to ensure smooth line handover. Desired Candidate Profile Education: High school / secondary technical diploma or above. Experience: 1+ years of assembly-line experience in an electronics factory, with a solid understanding of e-cigarette assembly or packaging; a multi-skilled (all stations) background preferred. Language: Basic English communication (understands management instructions and can guide foreign workers with simple words). Core skills: Nimble and fast; able to withstand long standing hours and a high-paced line. Potential: Some organizational and communication ability; a reserve line-leader candidate aspiring to a management role. Personal qualities: Proactive and cooperative; able to follow the line leader's and supervisor's overtime and rotation arrangements.
