Automation and BI Consultant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities For one of our clients, we are looking for a Consultant in Automation and Business Intelligence (BI) responsible for maintaining and evolving a set of Excel tools used daily by business teams for performance monitoring and reporting. Your missions: Maintain and evolve multi-user Excel tools consolidating data from multiple source systems. Automate end-to-end processing chains (data loading, transformation, and restitution) using VBA and Power Query. Design dashboards and summaries to facilitate decision-making. Gather user needs, clarify them, and translate them into concrete solutions. Control data quality to ensure reporting reliability. Support tool adoption: training, support, and continuous improvement. Test and validate developments. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications Essential Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA development. Good knowledge of Power Query. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into efficient and adapted automation solutions. Excellent communication and user needs gathering skills. Appreciated Skills Experience in data visualization, particularly with Python and/or advanced chart development in Excel. Experience in AI-assisted development and the use of tools such as Microsoft Copilot or equivalent solutions. Knowledge of REST APIs and their integration into business solutions. Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
