AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to achieve high efficiency and repeatability. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to ensure rapid and reliable software releases. Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using services like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana to proactively identify and resolve issues. Manage and optimize cloud resource costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, and other cost-saving strategies to maximize ROI. Develop and maintain security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption, to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, often involving distributed systems and microservices architectures, to minimize downtime. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field to establish a strong foundational understanding. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification to demonstrate proven expertise in AWS DevOps practices. Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field to handle complex infrastructure and deployment scenarios. Experience with multiple cloud platforms, with a strong preference for AWS, to facilitate a diverse skill set. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
