Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Opening: Bid Writer (Cleaning/FM Tenders) We are a facilities management/cleaning services company setting up operations in [UAE/Canada — add location] and looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join our team. Responsibilities: Research and identify relevant tender opportunities Prepare and write technical and financial proposals for government and private tenders Ensure all bid documents meet mandatory submission requirements Coordinate with management to gather company certifications, references, and compliance documents Track submission deadlines and manage the full bid process end-to-end Requirements: Proven experience writing winning bids/tenders (cleaning, FM, or related services preferred) Strong written English skills Familiarity with government procurement portals (e.g., CanadaBuys, MERX, or Dubai/Abu Dhabi tender systems) Detail-oriented, able to manage deadlines under pressure Desired Candidate Profile .5+ years of experience as a Bid Writer / Tender Executive, preferably in cleaning, facilities management, or related services .Experience bidding on UK and Canada government/public sector tenders is essential .Strong command of written English (native/near-native level essential for UK and Canada proposal writing) .Hands-on experience with tender portals such as CanadaBuys, MERX, Find a Tender (UK), Contracts Finder (UK) .Skilled in preparing technical proposals, pricing schedules, and compliance documentation to UK/Canada public sector standards .Familiar with PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) and SQ (Selection Questionnaire) processes used in UK tenders .Strong research skills to identify and evaluate relevant tender opportunities across both markets .Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple submission deadlines across time zones .Good coordination skills to liaise with operations, HR, and finance teams to gather required certifications and documents .Experience with ISO certifications, health & safety compliance, and insurance documentation as required by UK/Canada tenders .Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory) Immediate joiners preferred Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Facilities Management Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Bid CoordinatorProposal WritingBid StrategistTender ManagerRFP SpecialistProposal Manager Get real-time job updates only on our App
