Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, configure, and implement Cisco ACI fabric in enterprise data center environments. Install, configure, and manage Cisco Nexus switches (9000, 7000, and 5000 series). Deploy and administer Cisco UCS B-Series and C-Series servers, including UCS Manager. Configure and manage Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnects, Service Profiles, VLANs, VSANs, and firmware upgrades. Implement Leaf-Spine architecture using Cisco ACI. Configure ACI policies including Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts, L3Out, and Application Profiles. Perform migration from traditional network architecture to Cisco ACI. Integrate Cisco ACI with VMware vCenter, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms. Configure VXLAN EVPN, vPC, OSPF, BGP, and static routing within the data center. Perform software upgrades, patching, health checks, and lifecycle management. Troubleshoot complex issues related to Cisco ACI, Nexus, UCS, and data center networking. Work with security, server, virtualization, and storage teams during implementation and migration activities. Prepare implementation documentation, Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD), Method of Procedure (MOP), and As-Built documentation. Provide technical support during maintenance windows and major implementation activities. Required Skills Hands-on experience implementing Cisco ACI in production environments. Strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus switches (Nexus 9000/7000/5000). Experience with Cisco UCS Manager, Fabric Interconnects, and UCS server deployment. Knowledge of Cisco Data Center architecture and Leaf-Spine design. Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, vPC, VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF, and BGP. Experience integrating Cisco ACI with VMware vCenter and virtualization environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Experience with firmware upgrades and migration activities. Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, or Terraform is an advantage. Knowledge of storage networking (SAN), Fibre Channel, and VSAN is desirable. Required Experience 5 10+ years of experience in Cisco Data Center networking. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Cisco ACI implementation experience. Proven experience deploying Cisco UCS infrastructure. Experience working in enterprise or service provider data centers. Experience with data center migration and transformation projects. Preferred Certifications Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Data Center (Preferred) or CCIE routing and switching Cisco Certified Specialist ACI Implementation VMware VCP (Preferred) Desired Candidate Profile Hands-on experience implementing Cisco ACI in production environments.
