Chief Accountant

Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations for the Saudi office. Review accounting entries, reconciliations, general ledger accounts, and financial transactions. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi Zakat and Tax requirements. Coordinate with external audit firms and provide the required financial documentation and supporting schedules. Support closing activities and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting activities. Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation through Odoo ERP. Ensure accounting processes and transactions are aligned with internal policies and applicable regulations. Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution. Support management with financial information and accounting-related reports as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience as a Chief Accountant or Accounting Supervisor, with at least 1 2 years at the same seniority level. Previous experience with the Saudi market is mandatory. Good knowledge and practical exposure to Saudi Zakat and Tax requirements. Proven experience in dealing and coordinating with external audit firms. Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory. Previous experience within the Retail industry is preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and closing processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
