Chief Accountant

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting of financial results. Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights that support strategic business decisions. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to drive performance and accountability. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, ensuring all financial documents are prepared and available. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize accounting processes. Implement and oversee accounting software systems that enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting CA qualification (Qualified or Inter) is mandatory 8 to 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, post CA qualifications Trading/Manufacturing experience preferred Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting & financial reporting Employment Type Full-time
