Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Description – Cloud Network & Security Engineer Position: Cloud Network & Security Engineer Location: UAE Experience:6–8 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, manage, and secure multi-cloud environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud networking, cloud security, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), cloud governance, and security operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring secure, compliant, and resilient cloud infrastructure while collaborating with infrastructure, cloud engineering, SOC, and application teams. Key Responsibilities •Design, implement, and manage secure cloud networking architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP. •Administer and optimize Azure Application Gateway WAF, Check Point CloudGuard WAF, and associated security policies. •Manage and maintain the Wiz Cloud Security Platform, including: Onboarding cloud accounts, subscriptions, and projects Policy configuration and management Risk assessment and compliance monitoring Vulnerability remediation tracking •Implement and maintain Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) controls, governance frameworks, and security best practices. •Configure and manage cloud networking components including: VPCs/VNets, Subnets,Route Tables,VPNs,Transit Gateway,ExpressRoute,Load Balancers,DNS,Firewall Policies •Administer cloud-native security solutions including: oMicrosoft Defender for Cloud oAWS Security Hub oAWS GuardDuty oAWS WAF GCP Security Command Center Google Cloud Armor •Develop and enforce cloud security standards, governance policies, guardrails, and operational procedures. •Monitor, investigate, and remediate security findings, vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance issues using Wiz and cloud-native security platforms. •Conduct cloud security assessments, architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk analysis for cloud workloads. •Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, SOC, DevOps, and Application teams to implement secure cloud solutions. •Support onboarding of business applications while ensuring compliance with cloud networking and security standards. •Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automate cloud security controls. •Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and cloud resilience initiatives. •Prepare operational dashboards, compliance reports, security metrics, and management reports. •Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, security standards, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. •Relevant cloud and security certifications are highly desirable, including: oAWS Certified Security – Specialty oMicrosoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) oGoogle Professional Cloud Security Engineer oCheck Point Cloud Security Certification oHashiCorp Terraform Associate (Preferred) Job Description – Cloud Network & Security Engineer Experience •Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Cloud Networking and Cloud Security. •Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing and securing AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). •Strong experience implementing Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and cloud governance frameworks. •Hands-on expertise with Wiz Cloud Security Platform. •Experience managing Azure Application Gateway WAF and Check Point Cloud Guard WAF. •Strong knowledge of cloud-native security services across AWS, Azure, and GCP. •Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and security automation. •Experience supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure in mission-critical environments.
