Cybersecurity Governance & Assurance Specialist (Outsourced Role)

Leading information security assurance reviews and control validation activities against applicable regulatory and industry standards. Independently identify and document information security and technology risks associated with third-party systems, outsourcing arrangements, cloud services, and new technology implementations. Support SOC, threat monitoring, and incident response activities through evidence gathering, coordination, documentation, and follow-up. Monitor assigned cyber threats and vulnerabilities and escalate identified risks for review. Assist with security incident investigation, containment, remediation tracking, and reporting under the direction of senior team members. Support security awareness, brand protection, and digital footprint monitoring initiatives. Compile accurate risk, compliance, and security reports and supporting materials for management, committees, regulators, and auditors. Escalate security-related issues promptly in line with approved procedures. Apply information security policies, standards, procedures, and risk management practices consistently. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to complete assigned information security and compliance activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Assist with security incident management, including evidence collection, investigation support, corrective action tracking, and preparation of status reports. Perform assigned information security control assessments and assurance checks against applicable requirements, including UAE IA (NESA), SWIFT CSP, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, UAE PDPL, and other relevant standards, using approved checklists and guidance. Support Materiality Risk Assessments (MRAs) and Third-Party Security Risk Assessments by collecting information, reviewing evidence, documenting observations, and tracking required actions. Coordinate with business, IT, Legal, Procurement, and Vendor Management teams to collect inputs and confirm that approved security, privacy, and regulatory requirements are reflected in contracts, DPAs, SLAs, and outsourcing documentation. Participate in periodic control effectiveness reviews by collecting evidence, completing assigned checks, documenting results, and tracking remediation actions. NOTE - This role is an outsourced role on third-party sponsored visa and payroll with deployment in INB premises. All benefits, privileges remain aligned with bank employees.
