Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Summary We are seeking a Data Modeler to design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support enterprise data platforms, analytics, and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong data modeling expertise, data warehousing knowledge, and hands-on experience with at least one modern data platform such as Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Fabric & Purview, or Databricks. Must Have 4-5 years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Architecture. Strong understanding of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling. Experience in Data Warehouse and Dimensional Modeling (Star and Snowflake Schemas). Strong SQL and database design fundamentals. Knowledge of normalization, denormalization, and data modeling best practices. Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or equivalent . Hands-on experience with at least one of the following platforms: Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Fabric & Purview, or Databricks. Understanding of Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, and Data Governance concepts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have Knowledge of Data Vault, Kimball, and Inmon methodologies. Exposure to MDM, Data Governance, and Enterprise Data Management initiatives. Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Python or PySpark experience. Understanding of modern Lakehouse architectures. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Develop data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices. Collaborate with business, data engineering, and architecture teams to define data requirements. Support enterprise data governance, metadata, and analytics initiatives. Maintain data model repositories, metadata, and related documentation. Perform impact analysis and ensure scalability and consistency of data models across platforms. Preferred Certifications Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) DCAM Erwin Data Modeler Certification Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate Desired Candidate Profile 4-5 years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Architecture.
