Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Database Specialist National based in Medina to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-level Oracle database systems supporting national operations. The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, security, and availability, drive automation initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions. Responsibilities: Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments Develop, test, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, triggers, and scripts Implement and manage backup, recovery, and high availability solutions Monitor database performance and perform tuning, capacity planning, and scalability assessments Automate routine tasks, deployments, and monitoring workflows using scripting and orchestration tools Troubleshoot and resolve production database incidents, ensuring minimal downtime Enforce data integrity, security policies, and compliance standards Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and data management teams to support application releases and data projects Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical leadership on database best practices Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 10 12 years of hands-on experience in database administration and management Expertise as an Oracle DBA, including installation, patching, and upgrades Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills Strong knowledge of data management principles and information systems Proven experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Shell, Python, Ansible) Deep understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies Experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, and database monitoring tools Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification Experience with Oracle Data Guard, RAC, and GoldenGate Familiarity with cloud database platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS RDS) Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills Experience supporting national or multi-site database environments Master s degree in a related discipline Company Industry RecruitmentPlacement FirmExecutive Search Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Database Specialist National Get real-time job updates only on our App
