Demand Planner Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business intelligence
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to incorporate market insights into demand planning
• Monitor and analyze demand fluctuations, identifying potential risks and opportunities
• Optimize inventory levels to balance demand, supply, and cost efficiency
• Use statistical tools and forecasting software to improve demand accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency
• Prepare reports and presentations on demand trends and inventory performance for stakeholders
• Support the implementation of demand planning software and tools
• Work closely with suppliers and production teams to ensure supply aligns with demand
• Develop contingency plans for demand fluctuations and supply chain disruptions
• Qualifications &

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and statistical forecasting
• Proficiency in demand planning tools such as SAP APO or similar software
• Advanced PowerBI skills or similar apps
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or E-commerce industries
• Knowledge of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes
