DESIGN & ESTIMATION ENGINEER

The Design and Estimation Engineer for Fire Fighting Systems is responsible for the end-to-end design and cost estimation of fire protection systems in compliance with relevant safety codes and standards. This role ensures the delivery of technically sound, economically viable, and code-compliant solutions for various building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design & Drafting: Design and draft fire protection systems (wet/dry, hydrants, sprinklers, CO₂, foam) per NFPA and local codes
• Create detailed layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring integration with other services
• Assess site conditions and consult clients to meet project requirements
• Estimation and Costing Estimate fire-fighting system costs, perform quantity take-offs, assess material needs, and support procurement with supplier evaluation
• Deliver timely, accurate cost reports with risk considerations

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical) .Minimum 3 years of experience in the design and estimation of fire-fighting systems. Experience working with fire protection codes (NFPA, BS, etc.) and local regulations. Familiarity with fire safety systems such as sprinkler systems, hydrants, fire alarm systems, CO2 suppression systems, etc. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm system & fire-fighting system design & NFPA UAE FIRE CODE, and standards. Employment Type Full-time
