Electrical Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our General Maintenance team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical maintenance works, troubleshooting electrical issues, conducting inspections, and ensuring that electrical systems are maintained safely and efficiently at client sites. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance and repair works. Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems. Inspect electrical installations, panels, DBs, wiring, lighting, sockets, and other electrical equipment. Inspect electrical installations, panels, DBs, wiring, lighting, sockets, and other electrical equipment. Coordinate with technicians and maintenance teams at site. Prepare maintenance reports and communicate technical issues to management. Ensure work is carried out according to safety standards and approved procedures. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors when required. Monitor materials, tools, and spare parts required for electrical works. Attend emergency electrical maintenance and breakdown calls when required. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the UAE. Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, wiring, DBs, MCCs, lighting and power systems. Experience in building/general maintenance or facilities management is preferred. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings. Good knowledge of UAE electrical safety practices and standards. UAE driving licence is an advantage.
