Electrical Team Leader

Lead the preparation of electrical designs from concept through detailed design. Prepare   electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.Ensure compliance with applicable international and local codes and standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA, local authority requirements, etc.Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex engineering issues.Coordinate with architects and structural, mechanical, civil, ICT, security, fire protection, and other disciplinesCoordinate with Quantity Surveyors (QS) and aspect engineers to ensure accurate and detailed project specifications.Finalize design packages and coordinate with the technical manager for project implementation.Ensure all deliverables meet company quality standardsReview and validate electrical designs, specifications, and plans to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.Ensure compliance with company QA/QC proceduresProduce and review reports, presentations, models, and drawings to a high standard, with high accuracy, and in a timely manner.Take responsibility for the design and delivery of discipline engineering on multiple projects, seeing them through to completion.Manage and mentor the electrical engineering team, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and capabilities.Actively engage with colleagues across disciplines, in group discussions, and at events and seminars.Review detailed designs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Embrace technologies to improve performance and sustainability to meet net-zero goals.Identify opportunities for technical improvement and innovation in project designs and processes.Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance project quality and efficiency.
