Estimator Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities A. Estimation Engineer / QS Responsibilities: Prepare BOQ, cost estimation & tender documents for landscaping projects Vendor quotations, rate analysis, and subcontractor coordination Client billing, variation orders & project costing Requirements: 3+ Years experience in Landscaping / Construction estimation Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, BOQ preparation UAE experience preferred JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a results-driven Project Engineer to manage and execute landscape projects from mobilization to handover. The role involves technical coordination, site supervision, and client/consultant liaison for softscape, hardscape, and irrigation projects across UAE. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project Planning & Execution Review contract documents, drawings, BOQ, and specifications. Ensure scope clarity Prepare project schedules, method statements, and execution plans in coordination with PM Supervise site activities for softscape planting, hardscape works, irrigation networks, and MEP services Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, and project timeline Technical & Coordination Liaise with Consultants, Clients, and Main Contractors for approvals, RFIs, site instructions, and submittals Coordinate with Design, QS, Procurement, and Subcontractor teams for smooth project delivery Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and progress Identify technical issues and propose solutions on site Documentation & Cost Control Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site meeting minutes, and progress photos Support QS team with site measurements, variation orders, and interim payment applications Maintain project documentation: as-built drawings, material approvals, test reports, and handover documents Ensure compliance with HSE policies and company quality procedures REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Landscape Engineering Experience: 3–6 years’ experience as Project Engineer in Landscaping, Hardscape, and Irrigation projects in UAE/GCC Must Have Knowledge: Execution of softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and drainage works Reading AutoCAD drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications Contract documents and submittal process Project planning and site coordination Software: AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, Primavera is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid UAE Driving License preferred B. Project MEP Engineer Industry: Landscaping, Hardscape, Irrigation & MEP Contracting Desired Candidate Profile Technical Execution Supervise installation of irrigation systems: drip, sprinkler, bubbler, pump rooms, filtration units, controllers, and fertigation Execute landscape lighting: low voltage cabling, junction boxes, LED fittings, and control panels as per approved drawings Coordinate drainage & storm water works, gullies, channels, and underground utilities Read and interpret MEP, Irrigation, and Landscape drawings. Ensure works comply with approved shop drawings and specifications Project Coordination Liaise with Consultants, Main Contractor, and MEP subcontractors for approvals, RFIs, and site instructions Prepare method statements, material submittals, and get technical approvals Manage daily manpower, material, and subcontractor activities to meet project schedule Conduct daily site inspections for quality, safety, and progress Documentation & Handover Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and as-built drawings Support QS team with site measurements, variations, and IPC documentation Ensure HSE compliance and proper housekeeping on site Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in MEP Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Experience: 3–5 years’ experience as MEP Site Engineer in Landscaping, Hardscape, or Infrastructure projects in UAE/GCC Must Have Knowledge: Irrigation pump rooms, controllers, valves, and network design Landscape lighting, LV cabling, and distribution boards Drainage systems and underground utility coordination Reading AutoCAD, interpreting BOQ, and technical submittals Software: AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project Valid UAE Driving License preferred Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills Immediate joiners preferred Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Landscaping Department / Functional Area Other Keywords Engineering EstimatorRisk AssessmentProject EstimatorBid CoordinatorContract NegotiationCost EstimationPricing Analyst Get real-time job updates only on our App
