Knowledge & Experience Essential Qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA or equivalent). Minimum 10 15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience. Proven experience implementing and improving financial controls and finance processes. Knowledge of IFRS is essential. An understanding of US GAAP is advantageous. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management Lead the day-to-day finance operations across multiple legal entities and international locations
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior leadership
• Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Support senior management with financial planning and strategic decision-making
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Job Costing Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Prepare rolling financial forecasts and cash flow projections
• Oversee project and job costing to ensure accurate reporting of project profitability
• Monitor budgets and investigate variances, providing recommendations where required
• Financial Reporting & MIS Produce monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial KPI dashboards
• Prepare management reports covering profitability, cash flow, revenue, costs, and key financial indicators
• Deliver financial analysis and performance reporting to support business objectives
• Treasury, Banking & Working Capital Manage the Company's treasury function across multiple currencies
• Oversee banking relationships and financing arrangements
• Prepare short and long-term cash flow forecasts
• Monitor working capital, liquidity, and foreign currency exposure
• Ensure effective management of cash collections and supplier payments
• Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Monitor debtor ageing and implement effective credit control measures
• Ensure supplier payments are accurate and made within agreed terms
• Improve cash collection performance and payment processes
• International Finance & Compliance Oversee finance operations across the UAE, GCC, UK, Europe, USA, and the Philippines
• Ensure compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and financial regulations in each operating jurisdiction
• Maintain knowledge of applicable accounting standards, including IFRS and an understanding of US GAAP where required
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Corporate Tax, withholding tax, sales tax, and other applicable tax regulations
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required
• Intercompany Accounting Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across all group entities
• Ensure appropriate transfer pricing documentation and compliance with applicable regulations
• Support consolidated financial reporting where required
• Audit & Financial Statements Lead the preparation of annual financial statements
• Coordinate external audits across all business entities
• Liaise with auditors and ensure timely completion of audit requirements
• Implement recommendations arising from audit findings
• Financial Controls & Process Improvement Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate governance requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve finance systems, reporting, and automation
• Lead finance process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team
• Allocate workloads and monitor team performance
• Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development opportunities
• Support recruitment and succession planning in line with Company growth
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Business Partnering Work closely with operational managers to provide financial guidance and commercial support
• Assist with evaluating new business opportunities and investment decisions
• Provide financial analysis for tenders, contracts, and strategic initiatives
• Support management with ad hoc financial projects and business improvement initiatives
