Fitout Interior Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Oversee the complete lifecycle of interior fit-out projects, from initial concept and design finalization through to handover and defect rectification. Manage and coordinate with diverse project stakeholders including clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. Manage project budgets effectively, controlling costs, processing payments, and identifying opportunities for value engineering without compromising quality. Procure and manage the supply of all necessary materials, finishes, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues and conflicts that arise during the fit-out process, providing practical and efficient solutions. Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including financial status, risk assessments, and quality assurance metrics, to project management and clients. Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules, meticulously tracking progress, identifying potential delays, and proactively implementing mitigation strategies. Conduct rigorous site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all fit-out works adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and industry best practices. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design and project management software is essential. Strong understanding of building codes, construction methodologies, material properties, and FF&E specifications. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address complex site challenges efficiently. Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a significant advantage. Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing project demands, and maintain a keen eye for detail on site.
