Forensic Audit Associate/Senior Associate
Job Overview
Conduct forensic audits and financial investigations for corporate clients. Review accounting records, bank statements, contracts, invoices, payroll, and supporting documentation to identify irregularities and potential fraud. Perform fraud risk assessments and evaluate internal control weaknesses. Analyse financial transactions using Excel and data analytics tools to identify unusual patterns and suspicious activities. Assist in investigations involving employee fraud, asset misappropriation, financial statement fraud, bribery, corruption, and conflict of interest. Support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) compliance reviews in accordance with UAE regulations. Prepare investigation working papers, evidence files, and detailed forensic reports. Maintain proper chain of custody and confidentiality of evidence and sensitive information. Assist in litigation support, dispute resolution, and expert witness assignments where required. Conduct interviews with management and employees during investigations. Prepare presentations and reports for clients and senior management. Stay updated on UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, AML regulations, IFRS, and industry best practices. Travel to client locations within the UAE whenever required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CFE, or CIA certification is highly desirable. 2-5 years of progressive experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigation, or internal audit with a focus on financial crime. Proven experience in data analysis, financial statement analysis, and transaction tracing. Proficiency in utilizing forensic accounting software and data analytics tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Excel advanced functions). Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant legal statutes concerning fraud. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings clearly and concisely. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an investigative mindset. Employment Type Full-time
