Full-Stack Software Engineer
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Our Client in Muscat is looking to onboard two Full-Stack Software Engineers on a full-time, on-site basis at their headquarters. This is a 2-year outsourcing contract, with engineers working Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Remote work is not permitted unless approved in writing by management. Both engineers will work under direct client supervision, contributing to the analysis, development, maintenance, testing, and improvement of judicial and administrative systems, e-government portals, and digital services including integration with national government platforms. The work environment is high-security, requiring candidates to sign NDAs prior to joining and pass a background/security clearance before commencement. What You Will Work On Judicial management systems and case-tracking platforms Administrative portals and internal e-services Integration layers with Oman government systems (REST / SOAP) Mobile applications for field and internal use Database performance tuning (SQL Server & Oracle) Security-hardened features aligned to Oman's national cybersecurity framework Day-to-Day Responsibilities Analyse functional & technical requirements and translate them into implementable designs Develop and maintain web apps using .NET Framework / .NET Core / MVC / WebForms Build front-end interfaces using Angular or React Develop web services and API integrations (REST/JSON and SOAP/XML) Manage and optimise Oracle and SQL Server databases (queries, stored procedures) Develop or maintain mobile applications using Flutter or React Native when required Execute unit, integration, and UAT testing before every release Prepare and update technical documentation (specs, install guides, API docs, knowledge transfer) Support deployment, release management, and rapid incident resolution Participate in code reviews; implement security and performance recommendations Comply fully with client tools, methodologies, and internal procedures Deliverables Production-ready or test-ready applications and enhancements per the approved plan Documented source code committed to client-approved repositories Weekly task logs, monthly progress reports, and incident/resolution records Technical analysis, design, API, and deployment documentation Structured knowledge transfer sessions to client national staff Desired Candidate Profile Our Client seeks two dedicated Full-Stack Software Engineers to work full-time on-site at its headquarters in Muscat. The engineers will operate under the direct supervision of the client's IT management and will be responsible for the analysis, development, maintenance, testing, and continuous improvement of judicial, administrative, and e-government systems.
