General Accountant

Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Process invoices, payments, and banking transactions. Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Support tax, audit, and compliance requirements. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters. Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and accounting standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Shipping Lines (is a must). Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP systems is a plus). Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
