Head of Arabic Content

Job Purpose Lead the Arabic editorial team in delivering accurate, timely, and engaging local and international news coverage across digital platforms. Oversee content creation from ideation to publication while ensuring high editorial, linguistic, legal, and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Manage daily publishing plans, breaking news coverage, and analytical reports for the Arabic platform. Assign and monitor tasks for Arabic editors, writers, reporters, proofreaders, and content creators. Review and approve content, headlines, SEO, visuals, and overall editorial quality. Ensure adherence to editorial policies, style guidelines, and legal/ethical standards. Coordinate closely with the English editorial, Design, Multimedia, Social Media, and Technology teams to share and adapt relevant content. Monitor team performance, provide guidance and training, and support freelancer recruitment when required. Participate in editorial planning meetings and contribute to weekly, monthly, and annual content calendars.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required: Minimum 95% deadline compliance for content delivery and breaking news coverage. Maintain a post-publication error rate below 1%. Full compliance with editorial and legal policies. Achieve targeted readership and audience engagement across Arabic digital platforms.
