Head of Finance (For DR Congo location)

Full oversight of finance operations – Lead the finance function for the Congo entity, covering financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and internal controls. Strategic financial leadership – Partner with the country management team on business decisions, capital allocation, and long-term financial planning tied to operational growth. Compliance and statutory reporting – Ensure the entity meets all local tax, regulatory, and statutory filing requirements in the DRC, working closely with local authorities and external advisors. Team management and capacity building – Build and lead the local finance team, setting clear performance standards and developing local talent where possible. Cost control and operational finance support – Monitor operating costs across the business, particularly production and site-level expenses, and drive efficiency improvements aligned with industry benchmarks.

Desired Candidate Profile

Willing to relocate to the Democratic Republic of Congo – Ready for full relocation, with housing and food covered by the client, and comfortable working in a remote or site-based setting. Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred – Background in manufacturing or an industry similar to Lloyds' own operations, with a solid grasp of production-linked cost structures. Senior finance leadership experience – At least 8-10 years in finance, including prior experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or CFO-level role, ideally in an emerging market.
