Head of Technology (Artificial Intelligence)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced technology leader to drive AI and product innovation across a portfolio of startup ventures. The role involves defining technology strategy, guiding AI-powered product development, mentoring engineering teams, and working closely with founders to build scalable, market-ready solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead technology and AI strategy. Build and scale AI-powered products and MVPs. Guide startups on architecture, cloud, APIs, and AI adoption. Implement engineering standards and reusable frameworks. Collaborate with founders, product teams, and investors. Mentor engineers and foster a high-performance culture. Requirements 5+ years in software engineering, AI, or technology leadership. Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, React/Next.js, APIs, and cloud platforms. Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, AI agents, vector databases, and workflow automation. Experience building products from concept to deployment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Desired Candidate Profile Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. 10+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML research and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex AI projects from conception to production. Deep understanding of various AI domains, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
