HSE Supervisor-Oman

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across construction and rail project sites Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, client standards, and international best practices Promoting a strong safety culture Conduct daily site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks Lead incident and accident investigations, including evidence collection, interviews, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, risk assessments, PTW systems, and emergency response procedures Monitor high-risk activities such as excavation, lifting operations, confined space entry, and working at height Review and implement project-specific HSE plans, method statements, and risk assessments Support emergency drills, evacuation procedures, and communication protocols Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation Promote a positive safety culture through coaching, awareness sessions, and continuous engagement with workforce and subcontractors Desired Candidate Profile Possession of recognized HSE certifications (NEBOSH IGC, ADOSH SF, OSHA, IOSH) Rail sector experience is an advantage Valid Oman driving license Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint Knowledge of excavation safety procedures including soil classification, shoring/sloping requirements, and permit-to-dig systems Understanding of confined space program elements including atmospheric testing, entry permits, authorized roles, and rescue planning Strong grasp of HSE management principles and impact on productivity, compliance, and risk reduction Familiarity with NEBOSH methodologies for hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response, and incident reporting Ability to conduct structured accident & incident investigations applying root cause analysis and developing corrective/preventive actions Knowledge of emergency communication protocols, escalation procedures, and reporting hierarchy Clear understanding of HSE terminology such as accidents, incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions Strong situational awareness and hazard recognition skills Ability to influence and engage workers at all levels High level of integrity, accountability, and professional ethics Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Employment Type Full-time Company Industry ConstructionCivil Engineering Department / Functional Area HSE (HealthSafetyEnvironment) Keywords HSE SupervisorHealthSafetyAnd Environmental ProgramsStatutory ComplianceSafety CultureSite InspectionsSafety AuditsToolbox TalksIncident InvestigationsAccident InvestigationsRoot Cause AnalysisCorrective Action Planning Get real-time job updates only on our App
