HVAC Cold Room & Chiller Technician

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot cold room, chiller, refrigeration, and HVAC systems. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of cold rooms and refrigeration equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system faults and perform necessary repairs. Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, fans, pumps, and related components. Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing. Monitor refrigerant pressure, temperature, and overall system performance. Troubleshoot and repair chiller systems and associated equipment. Check electrical controls, thermostats, sensors, contactors, relays, and control panels. Replace defective components and ensure proper system operation after repairs. Maintain cold room temperature and ensure equipment operates within required parameters. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns. Read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Maintain service records and report equipment faults and maintenance requirements. Follow site safety procedures, company policies, and client requirements. Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete maintenance works efficiently. Desired Candidate Profile We are looking for an experienced HVAC Cold Room & Chiller Technician to join our team in Qatar. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in cold room, chiller, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Requirements Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in HVAC, refrigeration, cold rooms, and chillers. Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field. Strong practical knowledge of cold room and refrigeration systems. Good understanding of chillers and HVAC systems. Experience with refrigerant charging, leak detection, and troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of electrical controls and wiring. Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and time-management skills.
