Job Title: ICT Projects Business Analyst Reports To: ICT Projects Manager / IT Manager Number of Vacancies: 2 Positions Salary Range: OMR PHONE_NUMBER per month Work Location: All Governorates of Oman except Dhofar (Preference will be given to applicants from the local governorate) The ICT Projects Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the planning, analysis, and implementation of ICT projects by gathering business requirements, analyzing business processes, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions align with organizational objectives. The role supports successful project delivery through effective communication, documentation, and business analysis activities. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for ICT projects. Work closely with business users to understand operational needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions. Assist in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, process flows, and user stories. Support project planning, implementation, testing, and deployment activities. Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that business requirements are successfully delivered. Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation. Monitor project progress and assist in tracking project deliverables, milestones, and risks. Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes, reports, and presentations. Support change management activities, user training, and post-implementation support. Ensure project documentation is maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle. Perform any other duties assigned by management within the scope of the role. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience Practical Experience: 0 (No prior work experience required) Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Technical Skills Basic understanding of Business Analysis principles and methodologies. Familiarity with ICT project lifecycle and project management concepts. Basic knowledge of business process mapping and process improvement techniques. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is an advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. Basic knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms is an advantage. Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. Soft Skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Regular coordination with ICT teams, business departments, vendors, and project stakeholders.
