Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Citi is looking for an Insurance Planning Specialist to join its Wealth Advisory team in Dubai, serving as the primary insurance subject matter expert supporting Client Advisors and high-net-worth clients across a broad range of life insurance and wealth protection solutions. In this role, you will play a central part in driving insurance revenue within Citi's consumer wealth management business, combining deep product knowledge with a hands-on client advisory and sales approach. This is an opportunity to shape insurance strategy, develop client relationships, and deliver measurable outcomes in one of the UAE's leading private banking environments. Responsibilities: Act as the insurance subject matter expert for Client Advisors, advising high-net-worth clients on suitable insurance solutions across wealth protection, accumulation, retirement planning, child education, estate preservation, and endowment planning. Design and recommend tailored insurance strategies that align with each client's financial goals, risk profile, and long-term planning needs. Build and manage an active insurance sales pipeline by engaging prospective clients directly, following through each opportunity to closure independently or alongside Client Advisors. Coach and upskill Client Advisors on insurance concepts, products, and sales processes to strengthen team capability and generate qualified referrals. Collaborate with the Insurance Product Head and insurer partners to develop new product offerings, client promotions, and targeted micro-marketing events. Deliver quality after-sales service to deepen client relationships and generate referral business that expands the client base. Identify, escalate, and address compliance and conduct matters in line with insurance sales regulations, anti-money laundering requirements, and internal governance standards. Job Family Group: Consumer Sales Job Family: Consumer Product Sales Time Type: Full time Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications: At least 3 5 years of experience selling life insurance products in the UAE market, with a strong command of UAE-based life insurance products and underlying mutual funds. Demonstrated background in wealth management with a combined sales and product focus, including familiarity with financial planning concepts. Comprehensive knowledge of insurance, investment management, and current market, economic, and financial trends relevant to high-net-worth client advisory. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust with high-net-worth individuals and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex client financial situations and structure appropriate solutions. MBA or business degree qualification. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dubai. Beneficial Skills & Qualifications: Professional insurance certification such as the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualification or equivalent. Experience organizing or participating in client-facing marketing events within a banking or financial services environment.
