Job Title: IT GRC Analyst Reports To: IT Governance Manager / IT Manager Job Details Number of Vacancies: 3 Positions Salary Range: OMR PHONE_NUMBER per month Work Location: All Governorates of Oman except Dhofar (Preference will be given to applicants from the local governorate) Job Purpose The IT GRC Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of Information Technology Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (IT GRC) activities. The role assists in ensuring that IT processes, systems, and controls comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while supporting risk assessment and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, policies, and procedures. Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring IT risks across business and technology operations. Support IT compliance activities to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Participate in IT risk assessments and maintain the IT risk register. Assist in reviewing and monitoring IT controls and recommend improvements where required. Support internal and external IT audits by preparing documentation and coordinating audit requirements. Monitor compliance action plans and follow up on remediation activities. Assist in developing and maintaining IT policies, standards, procedures, and governance documentation. Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation related to IT governance, risk, and compliance activities. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to promote awareness of IT governance and compliance requirements. Support business continuity, cybersecurity governance, and information security initiatives when required. Perform any other duties assigned by management within the scope of the role. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience Practical Experience: 0 (No prior work experience required) Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Technical Skills Basic understanding of IT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) principles. Basic knowledge of Information Security concepts and cybersecurity fundamentals. Familiarity with IT policies, controls, and risk management practices. Basic understanding of international standards such as ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, or NIST is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Ability to learn governance frameworks and enterprise systems quickly. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Collaboration with IT, Cybersecurity, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and business departments.
