Java and Microservices Developer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks. Develop and manage RESTful APIs ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. Architect and implement containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to system architecture and development practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. Experience with REST API design and development. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Experience with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL such as MySQL, MongoDB). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT). Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
