Java Developer - Financial Credit Risk Control

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a senior Java Engineer to join the financial credit risk control program, delivering high-performance components that support credit decisioning, fraud detection, and analytics across the lending lifecycle. The role centers on building resilient microservices and well-documented APIs that sustain pre- and post-loan workflows within a regulated, fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Design and implement Java-based risk modules covering application screening, fraud prevention, and loan monitoring. Build high-availability API ecosystems capable of handling peak demand with sub-second latency for pre-loan processes and reliable performance post-loan. Leverage modern Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Alibaba Cloud stack, Nacos, Apollo, Seata) to ensure microservice resilience, data integrity, and idempotent processing to mitigate duplicate lending. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; minimum of 5 years of practical Java development within financial services or risk management domains. Expertise in scalable microservices with RESTful APIs, event-driven designs, and cloud-native deployment. Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Alibaba Cloud components (Nacos, Apollo) and distributed transaction management (Seata). Experience in performance tuning, profiling, and optimization to meet strict service level agreements. Knowledge of security best practices, data privacy regulations, and secure coding standards. Strong collaborative, communication, and problem-solving abilities to work across cross-functional teams.
