Joinery Planning Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. Prepare production, procurement, and installation programmes for multiple joinery projects. Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, recommending corrective actions. Coordinate with production, design, procurement, logistics, and project management teams to ensure smooth project execution. Track material procurement and manufacturing progress against project schedules. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients. Conduct critical path analysis and monitor project milestones. Assist Project Managers with resource planning and workload forecasting. Support tender planning by preparing preliminary schedules and manpower histograms when required. Ensure timely delivery of joinery items to site while maintaining alignment with overall project programmes. Attend internal planning meetings and coordinate with site teams regarding installation sequences. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 5+ years of planning experience within the joinery, woodworking, or interior fit-out manufacturing industry. Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel for production planning and progress monitoring. Experience in factory production planning, material tracking, procurement coordination, and delivery scheduling. Ability to coordinate with production, procurement, design, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure timely project execution. UAE experience with a reputed joinery manufacturer or interior fit-out company is highly preferred. Knowledge of custom furniture, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, wall cladding, or architectural joinery. Experience preparing production schedules, recovery plans, and progress reports. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
