Lead, Fraud Analytics and MI

Fraud Rules Management - Clari5 & HPS Author, configure and maintain real-time fraud detection rules, scenarios and models on Clari5 and HPS PowerCARD / HPS Secure. Manage end-to-end rule change lifecycle: requirement gathering, development, UAT in simulation environment, deployment and post-implementation review. Manage authorization controls, velocity checks, card controls, 3D Secure rules, and cross-channel rules for Cards, Digital Banking, Mobile, Remittances, MFK, Core banking finance system, Digital Channels and ATM/POS. Ensure proper documentation, version control and audit trail for all rule changes. Rules Performance Review & Gap Analysis Conduct periodic rule efficacy reviews: hit rate, alert-to-fraud ratio, false positive rate, fraud detection rate, savings and loss avoidance. Implement Champion / Challenger testing and rule tuning to reduce false positives without compromising detection. Perform gap analysis against emerging fraud typologies: Digital frauds, APP scams, Social Engineering, Phishing, Account Takeover, CNP, Card Skimming, First-Party Fraud, Internal Frauds and Consumer application fraud Benchmark bank's fraud controls against industry, CBUAE circulars and peer intelligence. Recommend new scenarios. MIS, Analytics & Insights Daily, weekly, monthly Fraud MIS: fraud losses, attempts prevented, channel-wise fraud trends, rule performance dashboard. Build executive dashboards for senior management, Risk Committee and Board. Lead root cause analysis and link analysis on high-value / high-impact fraud cases. Work with Data Science to develop and validate statistical models and ML alerts within Clari5. Regulatory & Central Bank Reporting Maintain the Fraud Incidents Register as per CBUAE Rulebook requirements to record date, description and details of fraud incidents and make it available for CBUAE Examiners. Manage all CBUAE fraud reporting: Fraud Incident reporting, Consumer Protection Regulation reporting, Security Incident reporting to CBUAE. Ensure timely, accurate and compliant reporting to CBUAE, UAE FIU and internal governance forums. Liaise with Compliance, Legal and Operations during regulatory inspections and audits. Leadership & Governance Lead and mentor a team of Fraud Analysts and MIS Analysts. Ensure adherence to internal Risk Appetite, Fraud Risk Policy and Model Risk Governance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or related field. Master's preferred. 2 to 5 years overall experience in Banking Fraud Risk, with minimum 1 year leading Fraud Analytics. Hands-on expertise in Clari5 EFM and HPS PowerCARD - rule writing, simulation, deployment. Strong experience in card payments, digital banking fraud and authorization systems. Experience in UAE / GCC banking and CBUAE regulatory reporting.
