Logistics Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage and oversee day-to-day logistics operations for company projects and business activities. Plan and coordinate the movement, transportation, delivery, collection, and storage of materials, equipment, tools, and project supplies. Coordinate closely with project managers, site supervisors, technicians, warehouse teams, suppliers, contractors, and transport providers. Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites according to project schedules and requirements. Plan delivery schedules based on site priorities, project timelines, and material requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to confirm material availability, dispatch schedules, delivery dates, and documentation. Track all incoming and outgoing materials, equipment, and project-related items. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, dispatches, material movements, transportation, and logistics activities. Monitor and follow up on pending deliveries and immediately address delays or discrepancies. Coordinate vehicles, drivers, transportation providers, loading/unloading activities, and delivery requirements. Ensure materials are delivered safely, on time, and to the correct project location. Coordinate urgent and last-minute material requirements with project and site teams. Work closely with procurement and project teams to ensure materials are available when required. Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to improve transportation and operational efficiency. Verify delivery documentation, delivery notes, purchase orders, and related logistics records. Coordinate the movement of equipment and materials between warehouse, suppliers, office, and project sites. Ensure proper handling, loading, unloading, storage, and transportation of materials and equipment. Identify and resolve logistics issues, delivery delays, transportation problems, and material discrepancies. Provide regular logistics status updates and reports to management. Maintain proper documentation and filing of logistics-related records. Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and applicable safety standards. Support project teams during mobilization, installation, handover, and demobilization activities. Take ownership of logistics requirements and ensure all assigned activities are followed through to completion. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in Logistics, Project Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Logistics Coordination. Previous experience in a Logistics Manager, Logistics Coordinator, Project Logistics, or similar role. Strong practical knowledge of logistics operations, transportation, material movement, delivery coordination, and documentation. Experience coordinating logistics for multiple projects, sites, suppliers, or contractors. Strong experience in managing material deliveries to project sites and ensuring timely availability of required materials. Excellent coordination and follow-up skills with suppliers, drivers, transport companies, warehouses, contractors, and internal teams. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to plan and prioritize multiple deliveries and logistics requirements simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle urgent logistics issues and unexpected delays. Good knowledge of delivery documentation, purchase orders, delivery notes, material records, and logistics reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong written and spoken English communication skills. Arabic language skills will be an advantage. Ability to communicate professionally with management, suppliers, contractors, and project teams. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in logistics records and documentation. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines. Highly responsible, proactive, organized, and capable of taking ownership of logistics operations. Experience in luxury hospitality, hotels, SPA/wellness, construction, MEP, engineering, renovation, or project-based companies will be highly advantageous. Saudi Arabia/GCC logistics experience will be an advantage.
