Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of SenseTime Image Service systems across multiple theme parks and attractions in the UAE. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, incident response, hardware replacement, and supporting the installation and commissioning of new projects. The engineer will work closely with the project delivery team, software engineers, and customer representatives to ensure stable system operation and achieve the agreed service level (SLA). Key Responsibilities Daily Operation & Maintenance Perform daily inspection of all deployed Image Service systems. Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule. Monitor the health status of cameras, servers, printers, POS terminals and other field devices. Ensure all systems operate within the required SLA. Incident Response Respond to hardware and software incidents in a timely manner. Diagnose and resolve issues related to cameras, industrial PCs, printers, networking and peripheral devices. Perform equipment replacement and on-site troubleshooting. Escalate issues to the development or engineering team when required. Installation & Deployment Support hardware installation and system deployment for new projects. Install and configure cameras, industrial computers, printers and related equipment. Assist with system commissioning, testing and acceptance. Verify power, network and infrastructure readiness before deployment. Preventive Maintenance Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all deployed equipment. Clean and inspect cameras, enclosures and peripheral devices. Verify system software and hardware status. Maintain maintenance records and inspection reports. Spare Parts & Documentation Manage spare parts inventory. Record maintenance activities and incident reports. Update SOPs and technical documentation when required. Maintain accurate maintenance logs. Customer Support Coordinate with customer operation teams during maintenance activities. Provide on-site technical support when required. Communicate maintenance progress and issue status to project stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines. Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in field maintenance, technical support or system maintenance. Experience in Theme Park, CCTV, Camera Systems, IT Field Support, Industrial Equipment, Smart Devices or Security Systems is preferred. Technical Skills Windows operating system Basic Linux (preferred) TCP/IP networking and IP configuration Hardware troubleshooting Camera systems Industrial PCs Printers and POS terminals Basic electrical and cabling work Preventive maintenance Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting Soft Skills Strong problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently. Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents. Willingness to travel between customer sites when required. Preferred Qualifications UAE Driving License. Experience working in theme parks, attractions or entertainment venues. Experience supporting AI camera systems, imaging systems or smart devices. Experience with CCTV systems (Hikvision, Dahua or similar). Basic understanding of networking equipment such as switches and routers. Working Conditions On-site support across Yas Island and Dubai attractions. Weekend, public holiday or emergency support may be required based on operational needs. Participation in new project installation, commissioning and system upgrades when required.
