MEP Technical Engineer

Coordinate MEP works with civil and structural teams during substructure construction. Check underground utilities, drainage, sleeves, openings and embedded items on site. Review and coordinate shop drawings, method statements and material submittals. Raise and track RFIs with the consultant and design team. Confirm MEP requirements are built in before concrete pours restrict later access. Attend technical coordination meetings with client, consultant and subcontractors. Support inspections, testing records and as-built documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Around 7 10 years of relevant MEP technical engineering experience including 3-7 years experience in UAE) Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. MEP technical engineering experience on large building or infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience coordinating MEP with civil works during substructure stage. Middle East project experience; UAE experience strongly preferred. Practical experience with shop drawings, method statements and RFIs. Ability to read and cross-check MEP, structural and civil drawings. Experience on large transportation infrastructure projects is an advantage.
