Odoo ERP Implementation Specialist cum Accountant

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Odoo across the group. Configure, customize, and develop Odoo based on business requirements. Work closely with the Finance and Accounting teams to improve business processes through Odoo. Configure and maintain the Odoo Accounting module, including financial reports, taxes, journals, and intercompany transactions. Develop custom features and integrate Odoo with banks, payment platforms, and other business systems. Manage data migration, testing, system upgrades, and user training. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure Odoo runs efficiently. Build an in-house Odoo capability and reduce reliance on external implementation partners. The ideal candidate is not simply an accountant who uses Odoo, nor just a technical developer. We are looking for someone who combines strong Odoo implementation expertise with a good understanding of accounting and business processes, enabling them to work effectively with finance teams and lead the group's ERP transformation. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years of hands-on Odoo implementation experience. Proven experience implementing and customizing Odoo in a live business environment. Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and the Odoo framework. Good understanding of accounting and finance processes. Experience with the Odoo Accounting module is highly preferred. Ability to work closely with finance teams and convert business requirements into Odoo solutions. Experience with multi-company and multi-currency environments is an advantage. Odoo Certification is an advantage.
