Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Description: HIRING | ORACLE APEX DEVELOPER | QATAR Position Title: Oracle APEX Developer Location: Doha, Qatar (Onsite) Contract Type: 1-Year Contract Role Overview Our Client is a reputable government sector organisation in Qatar seeking a highly experienced Oracle APEX Developer to support and deliver enterprise-level application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep Oracle APEX expertise and a strong understanding of government systems and processes. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications aligned to government sector business requirements. Build and optimise complex PL/SQL (Procedural Language/Structured Query Language) procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional APEX solutions. Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Oracle APEX applications. Ensure all solutions comply with government security standards and regulatory frameworks. Maintain accurate technical documentation for all developed applications and processes. Provide ongoing technical support and enhancements to existing Oracle APEX systems. Required Experience & Skills 10 or more years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience mandatory. Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Database, and SQL (Structured Query Language). Proven experience working within the government or public sector is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of application security, data integrity, and government compliance frameworks. Fluent in Arabic and English Arabic language proficiency is mandatory. Must be currently based in Qatar with valid residency and legal right to work.
