Oracle & MS Database Administrator

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases Monitor database performance, implement tuning, and ensure optimal efficiency Manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards Perform patching, upgrades, and migrations of database systems Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution Work closely with application teams to support database requirements Automate routine database tasks and maintenance activities Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies Support high availability solutions such as clustering, replication, and failover setups Required Skills & Qualifications 3 5 years of experience in database administration Strong hands-on experience with: Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later) Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019 or later) Experience with backup and recovery tools (RMAN, SQL Server Backup) Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization Familiarity with high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, Always On) Understanding of database security best practices Experience with scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or similar) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Desired Candidate Profile Required Skills & Qualifications 3 5 years of experience in database administration Strong hands-on experience with: Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later) Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019 or later) Experience with backup and recovery tools (RMAN, SQL Server Backup) Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization Familiarity with high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, Always On) Understanding of database security best practices Experience with scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or similar) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Language Requirements Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory Preferred Qualifications Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft SQL Certification Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud) Exposure to automation tools and DevOps practices Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Oracle & MS Database Administrator Get real-time job updates only on our App
