Plumbing Draftsman

Create detailed plumbing layouts and schematics using CAD software, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to integrate plumbing systems seamlessly into overall building designs. Review and analyze project specifications and blueprints to develop accurate plumbing designs and material lists. Conduct site visits to assess existing plumbing systems and gather necessary data for design modifications or new installations.

Desired Candidate Profile

A minimum of an associate degree in plumbing technology, drafting, or a related field is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Certification in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit is essential to ensure proficiency in drafting tasks. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in plumbing drafting or design within the construction industry is preferred.
