Principal Backend Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Specialist - Software Engineer with strong backend development skills and the ability to independently own technical initiatives from analysis through production. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. Perform technical analysis and solution design. Take end-to-end ownership of features from development through deployment and production support. Develop and maintain third-party system integrations. Conduct code reviews and maintain engineering quality standards. Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis. Collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineering teams. Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. Strong experience with: Java and Spring Boot Microservices Kafka PostgreSQL and MongoDB Redis AWS REST and SOAP APIs Production monitoring and troubleshooting Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code , or similar tools Ability to effectively leverage AI tools for coding, analysis, debugging, testing, and improving development productivity strong problem-solving skills, a high level of ownership, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high engineering standards.
